BIW panels and reinforcements

Body-in-white pressed parts - reinforcements, brackets, gussets and inner panels - stamped and welded to the body shop's tolerances.

Body-in-white parts sit in the welded steel shell of the car. They must hold their shape and hole positions so the body shop’s robots can weld them without rework.

Typical parts in this family

Size and material range

Sheet from 0.5 to 8 mm - cold-rolled, galvannealed, hot-rolled and high-tensile steel up to 590 MPa.
