Progressive die stamping

High-volume small and medium pressed parts made in one die that carries the strip through every station, one part per stroke.

What the process covers

In a progressive die the strip feeds through a row of stations. Each stroke pierces, forms or cuts at every station at once, so one finished part leaves the die per stroke. It suits brackets, clips and small reinforcements made in large numbers.

ENCO’s progressive capacity

16 progressive press lines at Kapriwas, Bhagapura and Dharuhera, each fed from the coil through a decoiler, straightener and feeder. They run strip up to 6 mm thick.

ENCO builds its own progressive tools, up to 2,500 mm long and 15 stations.

Where it runs

A part that cracks, a die that wears, a supplier that slips?

Ask an ENCO engineer. You get an answer from a person who runs presses every day, within one working day.
