Chassis and suspension parts

Thicker-gauge pressed and welded parts for the chassis and suspension, where strength, fatigue life and corrosion protection matter.

Chassis and suspension parts carry load for the life of the vehicle. They are usually pressed from thicker or higher-strength steel, arc-welded, and coated against corrosion.

Typical parts in this family

Rear suspension trailing arms and lateral rods; front suspension control arms, pivots, leading arms and compression rods; CNG pipe protectors, regulator brackets and spare-tyre carriers.

Size and material range

Hot-rolled sheet up to 8 mm, ERW tubes of 17 to 90 mm outside diameter, and S420 and C55 steel for forged and machined sections. Forged sections are crack-checked by magnetic particle inspection.

A part that cracks, a die that wears, a supplier that slips?
