From Global Imports to Local Innovation.

A customer imported a critical child part and thought it could not be made in India. ENCO found a way, and built the line to check it.

The problem

A customer was importing a critical child part for one of its products. It asked us to keep buying the part from abroad. It did not believe the part could be made in India.

We thought it could. We saw a chance to get the same performance from a part made here.

What ENCO did

First, we found local suppliers. The customer did not approve them. We did not stop there. We kept working with the customer’s teams, and we brought in a global multinational to develop the part in India for us.

There was a catch. To meet the quality this part needs, the assembly had to run on a line full of sensors, checking every unit. We invested in that line. It combines precise automation with quality checks driven by data.

The result

The part made in India performs as well as the imported one. The customer no longer has to manage a long global supply chain for it. It now has a reliable source close to home.
