Welded assemblies and sub-assembly

Five vendors for one assembly. Five phones to answer.

Every handover between your vendors is a place a schedule slips.

Pressed and welded body parts and assemblies, from ENCO plants in India.

Pressed child parts, nuts and bought-out parts brought together into checked, ready-to-fit sub-assemblies for the vehicle line.

What the work covers

Many buyers want one supplier to take a sub-assembly from coil to a checked, ready-to-fit part. ENCO presses the child parts, welds them in fixtures, adds nuts and bought-out parts, checks the assembly on a gauge, and packs it for the line.

ENCO’s assembly capacity

Assemblies of more than 10 child parts, forged inserts included, are welded on robotic fixtures ENCO builds itself - with PLC control, sensors, poka-yoke and batch coding. Bushes are fitted on force-monitored machines.

Each assembly is checked on gauges and checking fixtures built in-house, calibrated by FARO arm or CMM.

Where it runs

A part that cracks, a die that wears, a supplier that slips?

Ask an ENCO engineer. You get an answer from a person who runs presses every day, within one working day.
